UPDATE!
6TH OCTOBER
At Midnight on the 6th October the bell was removed from the tower to be taken away for repair below are some pictures of the removal.
The Great Tenor Bell is cracked and work will begin to repair it at the beginning of October. There is understandably a large cost and, while grateful to the Middlesex County Association & London Diocesan Guild of Church Bell Ringers Grant, the Rector is appealing to members of the wider parish community for donations (which may be Gift Aided). The work will cost around £40,000. Please contact the Church Office or the Rector directly if you wish to help!
