Parish & Ward Church of St. Botolph without Bishopsgate

Rector's Christmas Greeting

As Rector of St Botolph's I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very happy Christmas. This is the season of the Word made flesh- we remember that God has come into our world not in pomp and splendour but in the apparently insignificant form of a lowly child in Bethlehem. God can take what is small and of no account and enable it to change the world. This Christmas, I pray that you will find peace, joy and contentment with your families and your friends. I pray you will find a time of pause in your busy lives- a space for rest and reflection. I pray that 2011 opens up news doors for you in your living of the Gospel.

God bless you all, and a very happy Christmas from all at St Botolph's
