Parish & Ward Church of St. Botolph without Bishopsgate

Father Ted visits St Botolph's!

St Botolph's Day 2014 was celebrated by our community on Wednesday 18 June.
The Choir sang music by Gabrieli, Byrd and Parsons while the Select
Preacher was Father Ted Pardoe, the Rector of St Barnabas, Greenwich,
Connecticut. At the ceremony, the Rector of St Botolph's presented a stole
to Sarah Liebert, formerly a member of our congregation who is to be made
Deacon in the Church of God on 28 June, to serve in the Diocese of
Southwark. A reception followed in the Church Hall.

Fr Ted spent a number of days in the Parish visiting and engaging with
parish initiatives. Among others, he met with the Bishop of London, the
Churchwardens, the Team at XLP, the ALMA team, and a number of Livery
Company representatives.

Ted goes back to the States with our thanks and affection and we await new
and fresh developments in the exciting relationship between our two
parishes.

The photos below give a taste of Ted's visit.
