Parish & Ward Church of St. Botolph without Bishopsgate

St George's Day 2015

The sun shone and the morris dancers danced. The bunting buzzed in the
wind. A dragon pinata was slain- eventually. A Churchyard strewn with
people witnessed the fun and frolics of St George's Day supported by our
local businesses. The Choir sang stirring music by Stanford and Holst and a
lovely procession of roses festooned the Church interior. The Revd
Christopher Woods, Vicar of Hoxton, guided the congregation behind the
'mythology' of St George. Thanks to both the Kings Arms and The Fish &
Chips Shop, City, for their amazing help!

The pictures below give a taste of the day.
