St Botolph's Day celebrations

We celebrated our Patron St Botolph in style on Wednesday 15 June with a sumptous Choral Festival Service. Many of the St Botolph's 'family' from far and near were present to hear The Ven Luke Miller, Archdeacon of London (and our interim Priest-in-Charge) celebrate and preach, and the choir sang wonderful music by Padilla, Palestrina and Charles Wood (on that composer's 150th birthday). There were special prayers and an Imperial March in honour of HM The Queen in the week of her official birthday. After the service everyone enjoyed sparkling refreshments, the centrepiece of which was one of John Marshall's very special cakes, decorated with the icon of the Saint.
Below are some pictures of the after service celebrations and a copy of the Archdeacon's sermon is also attached.
